Aatif Nawaz
Aatif has a neutral London accent and is able to do both a Pakistani and Broad South Asian accent. Great comedic timing.
Aatif Nawaz is an award-winning actor, comedian, presenter and writer. His most recent show Instant GrAATIFication toured the UK including sell-out shows at the Leicester Square Theatre in London. He also co-wrote and co-starred in Muzlamic (BBC Three) and his other TV credits include The Tez O’Clock Show (Channel 4), Bounty (Channel 4), Asian Comedy Network (BBC Asian Network/BBC iPlayer), Newsnight (BBC Two) and Sunday Morning Live (BBC One).
In addition, he is a regular commentator on Test Match Special (BBC Radio 5 Live) and presented his own special for them called Aatif Nawaz in Rawalpindi. Aatif’s other credits include Inconspicuous Consumption (BBC Radio 4), the Evil Genius with Russell Kane podcast (BBC Radio 4/BBC Sounds), Laura Whitmore’s Sunday Session (BBC Radio 5 Live), The Spin podcast (Guardian) and the Christmas: What The Fa-La-La-La-La? podcast (Audible). He also co-hosts The Doosra podcast for BBC Radio 5 Live. Aatif has featured in commercials for Vauxhall and EasyJet.
